Flash Fiction: You Promised...

We both know that those promises won't be fulfilled until you get what you want, yet you promise to do it thinking I will agree on your terms.

You promised you will never ask me out because you never date people who work under you, you said you were not into that and you were way too matured for that.

You said to be free with you because you see me more like a daughter (your baby) - the female child you never had.

You said you like me a lot because I was natural, talented, intelligent, beautiful, considerate, a good listener, a problem solver... theist won't end. "Of course, I was just being me, you said I could be free with you and so I was."

You said you wish you can get a girlfriend like me, that if it was possible you will create someone exactly like me so you can have the girlfriend of your dreams.

You said not to worry, you will take care of me like your own daughter. You will always give me anything I want. You started by proving yourself, buying things and letting me handle stuffs, you said you were not trying to lure me so I kept taking the gifts because I trusted you.

You said you wanted to date me and you will do anything in the world to have me, "too bad I was as expensive as?" I never made demands. You said you won't stop until you have me as yours...

Fast forward to a year later, and now we are here. You didn't have me so you stopped liking me like a daughter, stopped treating me like your baby, did all the things I hated knowing I had principles, so I fled.

And now you are trying to play your last card, or so it would seem. You asked me to be yours again, not as a daughter but as a girlfriend which would sounds more like a fling...

I am confused, I am done!
