Health Benefits of Eating Pawpaw Seeds

Do you eat pawpaw? Many eat the pawpaw and throw away the seeds. According to a new study, pawpaw seeds can cure many diseases of the Liver, Kidney, Gut, and more. (Note: Papaya is another name for pawpaw – both names would be used interchangeably in this article.)

Pawpaw seeds can be eaten raw, crushed or mashed with milk, honey or salad dressings.  The importance of the pawpaw seeds is numerous. It prevents and cures diseases related to the worms, kidney, gut, and liver diseases.

4. Killing Parasites:

Pawpaw seeds have an alkaloid named “Carpaine” which kills amoebic parasites and intestinal worms. Children who consume Pawpaw seed juice for 7 days gets rid of a great percentage of parasites in the gut.

5. Anti-inflammatory properties:

Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, pawpaw seeds are great for joint disease, alleviating arthritis, pain, swelling and redness.

Though, pawpaw seeds have many health benefits, it can be dangerous for pregnant women, and women that are breastfeeding. Papaya seeds can be too strong for gastrointestinal tract of babies and young children. So, make sure to talk to your Nutritionists before consuming pawpaw seeds.
